TECNOSPORT was founded in the 1980s, motivated by a passion for adventure. Since then, it has become a leader in international Rally Raid, competing in prestigious events like the Dakar and securing the FIA World Cup in both the T2 category (series production vehicles) and the T1 category (prototype cross-country vehicles).
Over the years, TECNOSPORT has competed alongside some of the most renowned names in Cross-Country history — from founder Maurizio Traglio to Franco Germanetti, Klaus Seppi, Clay Regazzoni, Kenjir? Shinozuka, Dominique Housieux, Andrej Ivanov and Edi Orioli, to name but a few.

TECNOSPORT officially entered the rally raid scene in 1992, the same year the Dakar first explored the vast landscapes of South Africa. What started as a daring challenge soon grew into a legacy: the Como-based team competed in — and won — multiple FIA World Cup events, collecting trophies, titles, and unforgettable victories, culminating in the World Championship crown in 2008.
